Creative Personality

Now let's dwell upon the subject of creative personality. What characteristic features does it possess? What makes up a genuinely creative personality – original inner qualities only or outer appearance as well? We'll discuss these and other issues in this very section of our website.

Now imagine a person who's a singer and songwriter. A very talented one, he writes lyrics which produce both positive and saddening but invariably impressive effect on people, they are enchanted by the words of his songs as well as their tune. His looks aren't very tidy, his hair is an artistic mess and his favourite clothes are battered jeans and a baggy shirt – combination which totally goes off the track. Needless to mention his shoes which have seen too many countries and walked along too many roads to stay two single wholes.

Whenever he's inspired to write a song he goes to his favourite place in the countryside – to the 'enchanted' (according to his words) lake near his cottage and writes a new musical masterpiece of his genre.

Our singer-songwriter has been through many hardships which shook several 'spheres' of his life, he's been deeply hurt and beautifully blessed and gently touched and very often ruthlessly abandoned in different situations. But he never gave up and still able to have feelings towards people.

Our star is popular and is often invited to different concerts and various shows on TV, he goes there and always speaks calmly and slightly melancholically – in his own special unique manner, the one which is fully revealed in his beautiful songs. In the real life – behind the scenes – he's a loner. He savours his loneliness and hardly ever strives to closely connect to people. He has a few associates and friends but the circle of his socializing is too narrow to call him an avid socializer not to mention party animal.

In any case, this author and singer of beautiful songs is known the 'unwashed phenomenon' on the scene and is known as 'the original vagabond' in life and on his scene. Other people start making original songs about him in the long run – when the society (audience) is mature and in love with him and his songs enough to appreciate it.

Our poet sort of lives in his own world where there are no wars or cruelty, no starving children or natural disasters... His own unique world is a wonder palace, and at times it's just a barren place – depends on his mood and condition at a certain instant. There he finds inspiration to write his songs which are of different character as well – inspiringly hopeful and saddeningly empty in an artistic sense of the words. But these works are always unchangingly beautiful and original, they have found their unique niche in the vast world of myriad of other songs and poems.

That's one of the vivid human examples of creative personality from the real life. There are no strictly iron criteria to call a person creative, but certain general features can be found, you have just read about a few of them.

So many creative personalities, so many different descriptions of their dispositions can be, that's a fact. However, what's important is that they always stand out no matter how diverse their characters, individualities, outlook, occupation and creativity can be.
