Talent vs. Creativity

Talent and creativity are different things irrespective of other highly unjustified opinions on the subject that may exist. Some state that they are all the same but don't believe them our dear readers! Why? Because we're sure that we sound too credible to believe someone else!

With regard to talent, it's an inborn gift implying certain sphere of creativeness. If there is no talent, one cannot create anything unique and eternally memorable even if he or she is quite creative. Talent is a global notion, it's the boss of some minor boredom-proof concepts like inspiration, intelligence, wit, same old creativity. Talent is unique in itself while creativity is easily developable and widespread in our post-modernistic world where even your stream of consciousness is considered highly creative.

Concerning creativity, it implies less global things than talent. While talent is more associated with fundamental inborn skills and unique abilities, creativity suggests an original approach to certain ideas or problems-solving. It can be developed if paid worthy attention, the key word being effort from your inspired side, nothing globally hard.

Some people are creative but try to make everyone else consider that they are the proud 'owners' of a rare talent in the sphere where they express their professionalism. Most of the time this 'boasty' creativity is either fake or way too extra, the notions are close. In any case, it being a real talent is out of the question, that's for sure. Genuinely talented people are usually less wordy and more modest. Unless their consciousness is just too streamy, that is.

Talent can hardly ever live without creativity while Creativity can easily enjoy her own company only. Talent seems to be deeply in love with Miss Creativity, while she couldn't care less about his presence by her careless side. Talent is very persistent and never lets her go when he appears in her life. However, when Creativity is alone, she is never bored without him and scarcely calls him to invite him for a drink or two. Creativity got used to her loneliness peppered with a few transient 'boyfriends' while Talent can't stand loneliness without her. Oh well, love was never fair, eh.

In an ideal, in the situation called hackneyedly 'Happy End', a fine combination... sorry – mutually beneficial union of Creativity and Talent would suit anyone of us. On the one hand, it would be cool to be all talented and creative at the same time, but somehow this talent (generalization) is granted to the chosen ones only.

On the other hand, it would start becoming slightly if everyone were that gifted. Creativity hardly ever bears boredom, that's why in our highly experienced opinion everything is perfectly imperfectly well-organized in our creative world.
